Each licensed person will need to complete an 8 Hour NMLS approved Mortgage Continuing Education Course in order to renew their license for 2011.  Included in your 8 hours must be 3 hours devoted to federal laws and regulation, 2 hours of ethics, and 2 hours on non-traditional mortgages.  This course must be completed by December 31^st to avoid penalties or suspension.  In addition, licensees must renew their license through the state managed NMLS system to ensure complete compliance.
