LDI Changes license renewal procedure

The Louisiana Department of Insurance has changed renewal procedures for all insurance producers in Louisiana.
Effective January 2009, license renewals will no longer be regulated according to the current law which requires renewals by April 30 every other year.
Instead, insurance producers now must adhere to deadlines which are governed by birth dates. This new law is already in effect, and will begin with all current L,H,A producers with a May birth date.
