HOME INSPECTION LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
- If you are applying for an LSBHI Home Inspection License, you will be required to go through a minimum of 90 hours of classroom education with an LSBHI approved Education Provider.
- Pass NHIE Exam
- Complete 30 hours of pre-licensing platform training, as well as ten (10) live inspections with an approved in-field trainer
- Attend Report Writing Seminar given by LSBHI
- Obtain Insurance
- Apply with the LSBHI
Note: The 90 classroom hours must be completed before the 30 hours of field training can begin.
