In order to become an appraiser, the first step is to meet your core education requirements in order to apply for a license. These three courses consist of the initial 75 hours required to become an appraiser. The three core appraisal pre-license courses which must be taken are:
- Basic Appraisal Principles – 30 Hours
- Basic Appraisal Procedures – 30 Hours
- 15 Hour National USPAP – 15 Hours
