Trial Subscriptions and Refund Policy Details

The Student understands that once registration is complete and/or a course is accessed tuition is considered non-refundable for any reason. If a student decides not to continue with the course, no partial credit can be offered for trial or any other subscriptions including paid tuition. If available, trial subscriptions must be upgraded to a full tuition account to graduate or receive any official certificates of completion from the School. Once any course has been accessed, and/or work completed, tuition is non-refundable in whole or in part. Credits earned during the admission period cannot be transferred if a student chooses to discontinue the course other than final completion of the course in its entirety.

Tuition for this course is as advertised and may change without notice. The only way to guarantee access at a particular price is to register at that time.

Extensions are available as per normal policy available to all students at any time. Pricing for extensions may change at any time. “Free trials, trials, demos,” and other similar products cannot be extended past the access period enrolled.  Students can only extend their course through the office.  DO NOT simply re-register for your course through the website as it will not grant you access to your current account.

Refund Policy Continued

The Student understands that prior to starting class tuition is fully refundable for full-priced tuition courses provided the student notifies the office at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled start of the class in writing. Discounted courses such as “Holiday Specials” and “Spring/Summer Specials” or any tuition which was purchased using an online voucher or coupon code are nonrefundable for any reason. Once the class has started, all tuition is considered non- refundable and not transferable for any reason.

NSF Checks and Credit Card Chargebacks

All checks returned uncollectable for any reason will be charged a $25.00 NSF fee. Uncollected checks after reasonable time allowed for the writer to make good, will be turned over to the proper legal authorities for collection and all expenses associated with the same will be paid by the student before a certificate is issued. Any credit card chargebacks for any amount initiated by a student will carry the same fees as above, and students who have any tuition funds unpaid for either reason (NSF check or chargeback) will have their course access immediately suspended until the situation is resolved. Resolution can only include the outstanding tuition plus chargeback fees being remitted to the School. A credit card chargeback resolved against the School will result in the student continuing to be suspended from any and all course access unless or until all fees due are paid to School.

Once a student has purchased and received any books, videos, audio materials, DVDs, or other physical study materials these materials are not returnable and nonrefundable.  If you are unable to attend an in-class course that has been purchased, and you do not request a refund within 24 hours of the course start date and time, we may charge an administrative fee to be deducted from the amount refunded.

The student will be required to complete all tests, including the final exam, on the Internet to receive credit for a course.

For any classes described as “virtual”, “live stream”, “synchronous”, “webinar” or any other delivery type tuition is considered non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason. A refund of tuition paid in advance can only be issued if the student notifies the office of intent to withdraw at least 48 hours prior the scheduled start time of the class session. If the student wishes to withdraw without 48-hour prior notice all tuition paid is considered non-refundable and the student will have no claims to returns of tuition paid in any amount for any reason whatsoever.

Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people.

Donaldson Educational Services, LLC (“Donaldson Education”) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, Donaldson Education cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending an in-person program could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.
Should you have any concerns regarding the safety of enrolling in and attending an in-person program, please do not hesitate to contact a Donaldson Education employee to discuss what online program options we have available.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending an in-person program and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at Donaldson Education may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Donaldson Education employees, contractors, and students and their families.

I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my attendance at any one or all of the Donaldson Education facilities. On my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Donaldson Education, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Donaldson Education, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Donaldson Education program.
