Louisiana Real Estate Post-License Requirements
In Louisiana, all new real estate licensees are required to complete a 45 hour post-license course within 180 days after their initial license date. Here is how it works (an example):
If you received your license in 2016, you must complete a minimum of 45 hours of approved post-license coursework within 180 days of the date your license is issued. This coursework will qualify for 8 hours of elective continuing education credit. In addition, you would need to complete the 2016 LREC Mandatory Continuing Education Course in order to renew your license by December 31.
