Ongoing Storm Renovations

The Metairie building is still under repair as a result of damage inflicted by Hurricane Ida. Therefore, please be advised that certain campus areas, as well as some amenities, may not be available. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work to restore our campus facilities.

Please note the following rules and requests if you plan to attend an upcoming class at our Metairie facilities:

  • The carpets have been removed from lobby and classroom areas and may not be replaced prior to your class session
  • The second floor of the building is CLOSED to the public and should not be accessed for any reason until further notice
  • Unfortunately, the vending machines sustained damage and are not in working order. Please prepare accordingly and do not attempt to access any items leftover in the machines as they may be unsafe for consumption
  • Our classroom has been outfitted with air purification systems that maintain suitable air quality – we ask that anyone other than the maintenance staff refrain from moving or adjusting these systems in any way
  • You may also notice that other items are also under repair such as ceiling tiles, lighting fixtures, certain sheetrock areas, bathroom areas etc. – please excuse our mess as crews continue to complete their respective work! Some areas of the building are still a construction zone!

Other Required Safety Precautions
As you may be aware, effective September 28, 2021, Governor Edwards temporarily extended Louisiana’s statewide mask mandate for another four weeks. This mandate includes indoor activities for all people age five and older. Our understanding is that this mandate will remain in effect until October 27. As a result, Donaldson is requesting that all visitors to our facilities do their best to comply by wearing a face covering while indoors such as in classrooms or administrative offices. We will also continue to restrict enrollment in classrooms to ensure proper social distancing while in class.

Some classes will continue as scheduled, but others will have altered schedules. For any class session, it will be required that attendees register in advance to ensure proper session preparation.

Class continues to meet per regular schedule in Baton Rouge and Virtually. Our customer service office is open to assist via phone and email from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm while the Metairie facility continues to undergo repairs due to the Hurricane. We anticipate that any live classes scheduled for Metairie will be held beginning October 4th. Current ongoing students in Metairie live programs should continue to pursue either the Baton Rouge Campus or Virtual Campus meetings as an alternative until the Metairie campus is officially re-opened to the public.

September 10, 2021

As of today, we are happy to report that most services and campus locations are fully operational. Unfortunately, our campus in Metairie did sustain some damage and remains closed to the public while repairs and mitigation continue. As a result, we have made some adjustments to those scheduled to begin new classes next week in Metairie.

Please review for scheduling updates for real estate students scheduled to begin class the week of September 13th:

  1. Baton Rouge class will go on as scheduled as it is fully powered and undamaged
  2. The Virtual class will go on as scheduled and all new students scheduled for Metairie will be provided access to attend virtually
  3. Anyone registered for Metairie live classes may elect to attend on campus in Baton Rouge instead by simply contacting our office to let us know
  4. Alternatively, any Metairie students scheduled to begin in September can reschedule without penalty to any future class date in 2021. Fortunately, new dates are scheduled soon such as October 4th (DAY) or October 12 (NIGHT). Contact our customer service team and they’ll happily assist you in your reschedule request.
  5. Current students already attending class in Baton Rouge or Virtually should plan to attend their next scheduled class meeting. Current Metairie students should plan to attend either in Baton Rouge or Virtually at their choice until the Metairie Campus is re-opened to the public.

Please note that customer service is available Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:00pm via phone or email to assist you. The office is closed to walk-in public traffic but please do not hesitate to reach out as our team is available to assist you!
